Our mechanics average 10 years experience and many have been with UMI for over 15 years. Our clients demand top quality and we deliver! UMI technicians receive certified training in the classroom as well as on site experience in design, engineering and installation of the latest in HVAC equipment and controls. All of our technicians are EPA certified for handling of refrigerants ensuring respect for and protection of our planet.

In addition to cell phones, each service technician has a hand held computer utilizing a wireless network to speed both dispatching and billing. Soon this system will allow our customers to view the progress of work orders on-line. We are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Bronze

Visual inspection for leaks, vibration, and noise.
Chech condensate drain condition
Lubricate all motors and bearings as needed.
Check condenser coils.
Remove debris from within unit.

Silver

Check belt condition / tension
Check oil level / condition.
Check refrigerant level and condition
Visual inspection for leaks, vibration, and noise.
Chech condensate drain condition
Check general operation and condition
Seasonal check of cooling/heating controls and safety components.
Check unit operation from thermostat.
Check motor condition and amperage.
Seasonal check for coil/heat exchanger condition
Lubricate all motors and bearings as needed.
Check condenser coils.
Calibrate temperature, pressure and safety controls
Tighten motor mounts, blower mounts, electrical connections, etc.
Annual indoor air quality sampling and analysis (CO& CO2)
Adjust dampers and linkage
Check superheat
Check starter and control panel
Check unloader and check valve.
Ohm contactor(s)
Check all solenoid valves
Meg compressor motor
Remove debris from within unit.
Calibrate pressure controls
Check combustion air.
