To ensure long-term optimal performance and a hassle-free experience with new or existing HVAC systems, United Maintenance offers a custom array of preventative maintenance contracts (PMCs) for our commercial, industrial and government customers. Designed as an add-on service to help our customers maintain their heating/cooling systems safely, our meticulous attention to detail has made preventative maintenance one of our most popular offerings over the years. Whether or not UMI installed your current HVAC system, we provide careful monitoring and reliable maintenance to keep your system running at its best.
What does preventative maintenance include?
Because every facility and every HVAC system is different, we tailor every preventative maintenance contract to the needs of the customer, taking into account the application, infrastructure and budgetary needs. For example, a smaller retail store might require a more basic maintenance package, while an HVAC system for a cleanroom might need constant monitoring and upkeep to maintain optimal conditions in the room. Depending on your specific needs, options for preventative maintenance may include the following:
- Periodic filter replacement and basic inspection
- Regular inspection of critical working parts
- Checking and adjusting refrigerant levels
- Lubricating motors and bearings
- Cleaning the unit of debris
- Indoor air quality analysis
- Calibration of controls
- Checking condensate drain
- Off-site or on-site monitoring, making adjustments as needed
Which HVAC systems do you service?
UMI can provide service and preventative maintenance for nearly all HVAC systems, even if they are not installed by our company—including (but not limited to) systems manufactured by Trane, Honeywell, Carrier, Johnson Controls and Andover.
What type of preventative maintenance do I need?
Every company, factory, office and campus has a different set of HVAC maintenance needs, and United Maintenance will design a PMC that fits both your needs and your budget. The best way to determine the most suitable preventative maintenance options for your company is to consult with an expert UMI team member.
